Coffee is widely used in almost all the countries of the world. There are several drinks prevailing in various countries and which are also widely accepted. These drinks are tea, coffee, various types of soft drinks and energy drinks. Coffee can be prepared in a variety of ways and so different countries have different types of coffee. In the Arab countries, the taste of coffee is different from that of coffees of other countries. The coffee of the Arab country is thick and its taste is bitter-sweet.

The term, ‘Arabic Coffee’ is used in the general sense of the term which refers to the way about the preparation of coffee in the Arab countries the middle-east. Preparing Arab coffee requires two main ways. One is the traditional coffee brewing which is more common in Najd and Hejaz.

This coffee is full of rich flavor with cardamom and many a time spices like saffron are also used to give a golden color to the coffee. After the coffee has attained the golden color, very little evaporated milk has been added. But, this practice has been done very rarely. The coffee is poured in a special Dallam pot. The coffee cups are small and these cups are completely devoid of handle. There is a small portion which covers the bottom of the cup.

The state governments of different states are not eager and willing to continue the practices of hookah in the different pubs and restaurants because of several reasons. As Hookah smoking is injurious to health, the state government grants this as a crime and so wants to abolish it. Doctors have also warned the people about the deadly effect of the Hookah smoking and they also said that it will lead an addiction. The state governments want to ban first in the public places. The young generation first uses the hookah as a pastime and also for fun, but, later, without their notice, they gradually developed an addiction to it and which requires doctor’s help to eliminate.
